Final rites for Vernon Von Crews, 74, of Rt 2 Waynesboro were conducted August 3 at 2 o'clock from Middle Tennessee Funeral Home Chapel with Bobby Pinckley officiating. Age 77, of Lawrenceburg TN, was born Sep. 10, 1936 in the Holly Creek Community of Wayne County near Iron City, the son of the lae Marshall "Chick" Gambrell and Willadean Gambrell. He died at his home in Lawrenceburg , Saturday May 10, 2014. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a granddaughter, Brittney Kimbrell Gambrell, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Presently he was retired from Corrections Corporation of America in Clifton. As a trustworthy, loyal and stauch Christian he preached God's word and ministered to people through his music as long as his health permitted.

Clifton Ray Hill Sr. of Waynesboro, TN was born November 17, 1943 in Jackson, TN, the son of the late Elmer and Ester Mansfield Hill.
