Age 77, of Lawrenceburg TN, was born Sep. 10, 1936 in the Holly Creek Community of Wayne County near Iron City, the son of the lae Marshall "Chick" Gambrell and Willadean Gambrell. He died at his home in Lawrenceburg , Saturday May 10, 2014. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a granddaughter, Brittney Kimbrell Gambrell, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

For over 30 years Marshall was the owner-operator of Gambrell Hickory Mill in Chesterfield TN. He also served as constable in Chesterfield and was a law officer in Henderson and Perry Counties. Presently he was retired from Corrections Corporation of America in Clifton.
